Global Green Nanotechnology Conclave 2015 (GiGaNTiC 2015)

CII-Gujarat Centre of Excellence in Nanotechnology is organizing “Global Green Nanotechnology Conclave (GiGaNTiC 2015) with the theme “Fostering Innovation to build core competency and provide market leadership for sustainable growth” on 6-7th August, 2015 at Ahmedabad, India.

Commercially available graphene-enabled end-use products worldwide

Currently, the major chunk of graphene market belongs to graphene nanoplatelets, used mainly in structural composites, plastics and energy storage applications. Commercialization activity of graphene based products is underway in the various areas such as masterbatches, plastics components, rubber products, conductive inks, sensors, supercapacitors, structural composites, batteries, flexible displays and high-voltage devices. It is expected that by the end of 2015, total 10 to 12 commercial products made of graphene will be introduced. About seven commercial products (graphene) related to sporting goods, consumer electronics, nanofluids and nano-lubricants introduced in 2014.

It is expected that a number of products pertaining to graphene will be introduced in the next five years by the downstream players, such as Samsung Corporation, BASF SE, Bayer MaterialScience AG, Siemens AG including others.
